It's amazing how something like this has already reached most of the civilized planet.
It's also called reckless dangerous and on and on.
I wonder why someone can drive a car at a high rate of speed within a couple of feet of a pedestrian with a baby stroller and no one thinks anything of it, but if someone flies an airplane within 500 feet of persons or property then it is considered "very dangerous"
Don't get me wrong. I am not condoning his actions.
It just seems like this is getting made into a mountain when it should be a molehill.
Pilots getting all over the news saying how dangerous and irresponsible it is doesn't help the average GA pilot either.
That just perpetuates the fears of the public that airplanes are dangerous and need more regulation.
I would bet a good number of pilots here have buzzed some one before. (usually a friend).
It was stupid to buzz the beach, but does anyone here really believe lives were in any more danger than the pedestrian with the baby carriage???
