Pilot needed - remote Alaska

Hi all. We are looking to hire a new pilot - doesn't happen often as we are a small company. As a long time lurker I thought this might be a good place to pass the word around. Here is a link to my add on Alaska's List

http://alaskaslist.com/1/posts/10_Trans ... Pilot.html

I will be happy to answer questions on the forum or privately if you email or pm me.

Thanks, Taj

PS to the moderators - I really did look at the newbie intro and sure hope this is the right place to put this - not really a 'for sale' or WTB add - though if you you have a pilot for sale cheap.....

Sounds good to me, Jo! I think our road race schedule is dwindling down to 8 races for 2013. I don't see too much overtime and double time in the future for me. Gonna be a rough year I think :(

DP - thanks for the welcome. It's a small state - I'm sure we will run into each other at some point.

Spinner - email replied. Will be in touch.

Re: Pilot needed - remote Alaska

For anyone considering applying for this job, be advised that this is a VERY professionally run company and they fly VERY good equipment. The owner is a hard ass, but what the hell

You'll have a tough time finding a more interesting flying job and a better company to work for.

Re: Pilot needed - remote Alaska

BTC - don't know about out-of-country pilots. Should be no problem, I have flown overseas on my American ticket before. However, the FAA isn't quite as good about reciprocity as they should be. Our local FSDO is particularly well know for giving foreign licenses a hard go...

MTV - Thanks for the kind words. I have flown around the state and I would agree on all counts.

would love to move to FAI but I know uncle sam wont want me to pocket your dollars...tried everything years ago trying to get flying with Temsco Heli....funny thing is that we have tons of US pilots working here...you are right, reciprocity isnt in the FAA catalogue! Best of luck finding the right lad or gal, Cheers

Re: Pilot needed - remote Alaska

Go to alaskaslist.com and look under aviation classifieds. Also we have a website - arcticairalaska.com - but I'm afraid it hasn't been updated in a while... Still has a good overview of the co and some photos.
