Any updates on the level of smoke in the general vicinity of Cavanaugh Bay, Sandpoint and Sullivan Lake? I'd like to make a final trip to Sullivan Lake (09S) before the state closes it the end of this month.

Virtually no smoke after the rains of Friday night, and a shift in the winds. It can change quickly however, if the winds shift to bring the Oregon smoke back our way.

I've found the My RADAR app is pretty good at describing current smoke levels.

I'm based on the water about 5nm east of KSZT.

Yep, Friday's rain helped quite a bit. Blue skies today, bit of wind off the tail end of the front passing through.
Yesterday there was some low scud over the Pend Orielle river, and a pretty good convective system moved through late afternoon(I was at 9WA3, not open). Fingers crossed, you're likely in decent shape to get a trip in before the end of the month.
