Plane crash 8/2013 in Iceland

Not sure if you guys have seen this or not, but I just saw it. Definitely a freaky situation. I looked to see if it was legit or not and it appears to be legit.

Not sure how anybody would survive this plane wreck as indicated in the story.

I agree on how anybody could survive that. Another hold my beer and watch this moment.

Plane crash 8/2013 in Iceland

I read the story on the Icelandic website it was originally posted on. It was an emergency situation apparently.

Open that and use the google translate function in Chrome. It should automatically prompt you.

Re: Plane crash 8/2013 in Iceland

The liveleak article under the video mentions that they were qualifying for an air race. I have no idea how air racing works in Iceland, but I cannot imagine how they would allow a three person crew to be on board... unless it was a "treasure hunt" race and not a speed race.

If it was a treasure hunt race, then I can't see how they needed to be flying low and fast (like a speed race) to qualify.

More questions than answers from my POV.

Seen this on other sites, seem to indicate that there was no problem with the plane, just a desire to do a good buzz job...perhaps the scuttlebut is wrong though...
