Portland hangar flying... Saturday 4/2 4:00pm

Update: McMenamin's Edgefield 4:00pm saturday April 2, 2011, just across I-84 from KTTD. Shall we meet in the Power Station?
---------------------------------------------------------------------

I'd wager that Oregon, for some reason, has the strongest showing on BCP of any state. The greater Portland area in particular is home to many of us, so why don't we get together for beer and pizza and have a bullshitting contest?

It's wet here on this side of the Cascades, with no sign of letting up. Might as well commiserate.

Open to locations and dates. Joining the boys at Hangar Bravo 3 out at HIO for an evening might not be a bad idea, if they are open to it.

Hey. I'm in. One can only polish aluminum for so long without flying. McMinnville is a good suggestion. Also, the restaurant at Mulino is not bad. However, I don't know if they serve beer which would be a requirement with the current weather situation.

Great idea. Saturdays work best. A Friday night might work too. Getting tired of this rain.

As long as it's in Oregon. I hate crossing the Columbia by automobile.

You must really be bored Alex. Its a drive to the Willamette Valley from Bend. You probably have more sun and snow than rain.

Cheers

Zane, sounds like a great idea! Would be fun to see some of you guys I haven't seen since Johnson Creek 2010. I'm always up for a good BS session. Heck, it's one of the things I'm best at :D

If you guys can tolerate someone north of the border.

I vote for Saturday, I am a big fan of the Edgefield, but anywhere sounds great.

Think positive, more rain means more snow!

Actually, we too have been having a lot of rain - and wind. I haven't flown for ages. :(

Man that sounds fun. I am heading to the coast this weekend for what will most likely be more rain :-) Would love to meet you as I have only meet M5Guy from the board.

Re: Portland hangar flying... TBA

Zane how are you with Saturday?

I hear one vote for McMinnville and one for McMenamins.

More thoughts on where, when?

At McMenamins you can fly to Troutdale and I can pick you up in the limo, 5 minute drive.

Cheers...Rob

I'm going to try to make it and bring my best behavior. :) My 'vote' would be Troutdale. Do we bring our gf/SO/wife/manager or is this stag?......

Well, I have aged and put on wt.....
Hopefully, my BB still fits.... #-o

Sounds like fun, guys!

If the weather was better, I'd definitely fly up there to meet up. It's a little too far to drive. Maybe next time.

Have fun!
