Portland hangar flying... TBA

Rob, I think McMenamins Edgefield is a good choice. Saturday late afternoon? 4pm? That's very close to KTTD if the weather is flyable. Of course that makes the beer consumption a problem. Sleep it off in Rob's hangar...

As to bringing your wife/gf/boyfriend... Mine will roll her eyes at the notion of airplane talk, but sometimes beer and food is enough to win her over. I'll prob be solo.

Saturday at 4PM McMenamins Edgefield works for me. I will be solo unless the wife wants to come, I wouldn't bet on her.

The shop apartment is open to any and all. 15 min from Edgefield. McMenamins is a hotel too.

Would she pass up an opportunity to roll her eyes at a whole bunch of airplane nerds?

I should be there.

I realize that Sunday wx looks flyable, but if we do it on rainy Saturday, we can drink beer and not be in a rush. Then Sunday we can go flying.

McMenamin's Edgefield 4:00pm saturday April 2, 2011, just across I-84 from KTTD. Shall we meet in the Power Station?

My lady will probably accompany me. She loves beer.

Any chance you can pick something more central? I mean, dang, that's way out there on the east side.

I'm a new kid on the block and I live near the end of KTTD ( Troutdale Airport) where I have a Tri Pacer in a hanger. I would like to meet a bunch of you and would be happy to pick anyone up at KTTD if the weather holds out. Can ya handle a stranger at the powerhouse? Time still 4:00 pm? Thanks,
Darrell Haas

You'd be hard pressed to be any stranger than any of the rest of us! C'mon down, we'll even let you buy the first round (just kidding).

In case anyone gets lost or arrested, my phone is 7O1-4OO7, standard portland area code.

Erin will probably tag along, the promise of beer is too strong for her to resist.

I'll vote for McMenamins in Troutdale. It's closer for me, I've never been there, but heard lots of good things. :D :D

Zane, Yes we do need to go fishing! Rivers are up pretty high right now, can't wait for the steelhead to start running in the Deschutes. Right now they are running in the Hood River. What about the Sandy?
