Pre-fab inspection panels.
Aircraft building and project-level overhaul forum -- Kitplanes, experimental amateur-built, homebuilding, or even restoration of certified aircraft.
I would like to find a source for various sized, flush mounted inspection panels complete with doublers, ready for installation. Making them is time consuming unless you have access to a Bridgeport.
Anyone have a source? Thanks in advance.

Pretty easy to scavenge them from another bird, never seen prefab generic covers. I know someone who makes some for specific applications...

It would be a quick thing to have the drawn up in CAD and cut by the dozens.

How many do you need? I just scrapped a 182 wing and kept most of the covers and doublers. The other wing will be scrapped also.

Thanks for the offer Pinecone. I could use (4) round ones with doublers. Also need a few rectangular ones with doublers. Guess I will just make those. Some of these are for the forward floorboard sections of my 205 project. These floor sections are actually missing. I need to fabricate them complete with inspection panels. The drawings in my manuals aren't very detailed.
You could PM me with a price.
