I bought...well traded for a set of rebuilt and covered through primer wings.. the wings were reportedly built by an A/I. I found #4counter sink sheet metal screws securing the leading edge to the spars and a front spar reinforcement, both wings. Some other crapsmanship issues. I’m waiting in log book copies, hoping the reinforcement was documented...otherwise have to replace the spars....I think?...
The worst fetch up I’ve found was in an O320 built by an A&P A/I. Sealant between the cylinder base flanges and case. “O” rings on case through bolt dowel pins...gross incompetence or what?
