Recommend shops for Cessna 180 annual inspection

I’m an AP and have been doing the annual work on my 6K hour P’Ponk 180B, with the inspection and sign-off with my IA. Unfortunately, I’m getting a bit too old to keep doing the work myself personally, and my IA’s in even worse shape. I’m located in Southern Oklahoma, and am wondering if anybody has had good success with annuals in my state, or the immediate surrounding ones (TX, CO, AR, KS, etc.)? It is due in October.

Thanks!

You might talk to Donnie Sharp up at Pauls Valley. He has a 185, Air Tractor and pretty sure an IA.

I’ll give Donnie a call, and see if he’ll chat. He stays pretty busy with his Ag Spray and anti-pest business, I’m thinking. I was pondering something more along the lines of a larger shop that sees a lot Skywagons. Beegles or something similar. I’ve heard of a fellow down near Fort Worth who does a lot of Cessna rigging, John Efinger. He also does annuals, as well.

Thx, Ron

If you're thinking Beegles type place, Mountain Airframe is close by. If I'm down that way I'm going to stop and check the place out sometime.

Steve Coleman in Monta Vista, Colorado owns a 180 and has worked on many of them. I use him for my annuals and he knows them well.
