Remaining logged in

I'm trying something new to prevent users from being logged out if you choose the "remember me" option.

Let me know if it seems improved.

Thanks.

I had to "Get Started" and log in just now again.

Re: Remaining logged in

Works on iPad now—keeps me logged in after explicitly ending Chrome session. Will try on main Windows statement tomorrow. Thank you!

All this time I thought it was just happening to me for old times sake.

Re: Remaining logged in

Anyone else able to determine if their session survives closing/restarting the browser?

Re: Remaining logged in

I've never (okay maybe 1-2 times out of hundreds) had an issue having to log back in on a computer. Months on end of my laptop shutting down, etc, with no issues. That is Windows 10 pro or whatever the highest biz level is, on Chrome.

However, my phone and iPad is the opposite - it's never let me stay logged in, not once, on chrome mobile and whatever iOS is latest. This is current as of 2 seconds ago.

Only use my desktop and Windows 10. Been logged in continuously for about three years!

My mobile devices (iThingies) are the ones that geek out the most with login sessions. My desktop is just fine.

Re: Remaining logged in

Generally my desktop using Linux, Chrome and Firefox keeps me logged in. Once in awhile I was out but might have been after an update .

Re: Remaining logged in

Appears to have helped. Have not had to log in since you started this thread...it has kept track of me for a few browser shut-down and computer restart cycles.

Re: Remaining logged in

Macbook Air using Chrome. I've been continuously logged in for a couple of years. Until yesterday. I logged back in and all is well.

I have had issues with my phone. iphone using, what?, safari? It never would stay logged in before but seems to be staying logged in now. Not sure when it changed because I rarely used it for BCP because of the log in issues in the past.

My iPad has stayed logged in since you started this thread. It is a huge improvement from what I have seen. Thanks Zzzz!

Same here. Curiously enough though, once upon a time I had installed MacKeeper on it and couldn't even log in due to too many redirects. It turns out that MacKeeper is a data gathering ruse. Bad news. Don't use it.
