Wrong frequencies and wrong airports - or worse no airports at all - nearly every time I fly.

The only frequency I worry about is urinary. Five times a night, or 30 minutes before I can land.

Radio frequencies, not so much.

Re: Short pattern.....how small is too small?

Urinary frequency, ha, ha! This probably deserves its own thread here, given that so many pilots are older males. I'm 50, and I'm beginning to see symptoms of BPH (benign prostate hyperplasia). I was getting up in the middle of each night to go pee, then someone told me about a nutritional supplement called beta sitosterol. It's derived from plants, and it's available over the counter (or over the internets). It's promoted as a way to reduce cholesterol, but it has the side effect of relaxing the prostate gland. I started taking it several months ago, one pill in the morning, and another at night. I took it for about a week before I saw any results, but after that I found that my urinary flow increased a little bit, and I was able to more completely empty my bladder so I don't have to go as often. It's not a complete cure, but it's a big relief! I had tried some other popular remedies (saw palmetto, pumpkin seed extract, etc.), but they seemed inconclusive, whereas the effect from this is quite noticable. I usually don't get up during the night now, and I haven't noticed any negative side effects. Highly recommended!

I'm thinkin you folks with urinary frequency issues might want a couple glasses of this before you take flight.

Clare Valley vintners in South Australia,

have developed a new hybrid grape
that acts as an anti-diuretic.
It is expected to reduce the number of trips
older people have to make to the
bathroom during the night.

The new wine will be
