Contrary to what's painted on the stern, it's not from Montana, although the owners were. This was taken out in the wilds of BC, Canada, specifically at Princess Louisa, the absolute most beautiful place on this earth.

I have to agree with you about Princess Louisa. My Dad takes his Marine Trader up there for about a week every summer. I'm hoping with the float plane me and the kids can drop in to visit my Dad and Mom when they're up there.
Each time I've been to Princess Louisa, a float plane has come in, shut down for a few minutes, then has cranked up and flown out. The trouble with that is that Princess Louisa changes almost hourly, so that to really experience her beauty, you really need to stay a couple days or more.
A short story: At the end of
The Ultimate Small Boat Adventure (still available, only $15.95, Barnes & Noble, Amazon), I had just loaded the boat onto the trailer at Port Orchard, WA and was taking down the radar unit in preparation for hitting the road. A fellow about my age came over to pass the time and asked where I'd been. I told him about my saga, from Port Orchard up through the San Juan Islands, the Gulf Islands, to north of Campbell River, with stops along the way at Prideaux Haven in Desolation Sound and Princess Louisa.
He commented that that was quite a trip in such a small boat, and I replied that I felt like God was with me all the way, protecting me in spite of some pretty rough weather. Then he said that he was an atheist and didn't believe in any of that God stuff. But what he said next was very peculiar, especially coming from an avowed atheist. "They say that God made Princess Louisa last, because after examining what He'd done, He knew that He couldn't do any better."
