Maybe the first customer of the 07 season ?

Any bets on how much more snow will fall on JC ?

Clear and 31F in McCall = 20's at JC. No trouble keeping the beer cold this am...

Stray Cat, who is my next door hangar neighbor and I are trying to figure out how to make that departure a ring tone on a cell phone. Think of it. A ring tone that sounds like the echo off the canyon walls at JC.

Ring Tone

Wow now that would be cool.

However I wonder how much I would be charge for calling myself?

Gives a whole new meaning to "Hey call me, Please". Wow I just had an idea, I wouldn't answer the phone and just let it roar away.

It would have to be a 180/185 with a long prop. I had a 88 incher on my 54. You could hear that thing for miles. On approach to the airport where my folks live by we would start decent about 12 miles out, out of 10K, start desending into the canyon and my Dad would hear us echoing down through there. He would sit on the porch waiting, then at first sound would jump in the pickup and head to the airport to pick us up. We would be cross wind mid field when he would pull in with the pickup. Just like clock work. Well he's no longer with us and neither is the 180. Good memories.

And.... the snow is back. Who took my summer? It was just starting to get nice, and bam, back to winter. I guess it's just springtime in the mountains, it snowed and hailed all day yesterday in McCall.

Supposedly the 180/185 club gathering is this week. Hopefully they're cleared out by friday.... unless they're BCPers of course. :)

When i was there last year, it blew and mixed pretty consistently in the early afternoon until the sun went down. Although right now, the highs aren't that high, so thermal activity won't be as bad I would imagine.

I'd say try to make your arrival as early or late as possible.

There stand a few obstacles between me and JC. One is the BFR tomorrow, which is not a big deal, but also the prop/engine mount/ignition vibration issue. I won't fly an XC with it vibrating like that. If I do come in, it will be on saturday. That gives me thurs night and friday to work on it. I'm bound to catch shit if I miss it, but shit happens.

If I'm not there, the only liberal you guys will have to pick on is Yellowbird :P

Need a ride?

Zane, I have an open seat if you want it. We could go tomorrow after your BFR or first thing Friday. I'm at Troutdale. If I don't here from you I'm going tomorrow AM.
What's with these porn peddlers coming on the site. Do you want us to report them to you? Regards...Rob

By the way, Bob White is coming by his self Saturday. I know he would give you a ride also!
