As far as totaling the fuel cost...I think I'd treat that just like a restoration cost...don't do it!! Measure it in "isn't this fun" instead of dollars...you'll sleep better at night! :mrgreen:
Glad you made it home ok...hope to see that rig up close sometime.

Longmont (KLMO) definitely has mogas - $4.75/g as of today. Erie (KEIK) has mogas too - call vector air or skyraider aviation to confirm - I heard in an lsa forum they were talking about taking it out. But I know the LSA planes are still flying - and most will only use mogas for the rotax engines.

I think their mogas is only 89 oct. Rotax specifies 91 oct.
