SPOT

My son Brent "Highroad" and 2 other planes are on their way to Anchorage.
I am following him on SPOT but only one third of the screen has Google map showing.
I can move the numbered spot points with the mouse to the part of the screen showing google map to see where he is at but in the past the whole screen would have a map.
Any idea what setting changes I can make to have google map show on the whole page?
Thanks Herman Oregon 541 404 6464

Re: SPOT

I gather from part of what you say that you are on the actual tracking page. The pages that are sent with locations as part of ok or help signals to email addresses are different and don't show the other locations from the track, so that's why I am assuming you are on the correct page. But I'm not familiar with 'moving the numbered spot points to the map' so I'm not sure we're looking at the same thing.

My spot tracking page is:

Is this the same type of page? If so, what I've typed below might help. Otherwise, maybe somebody else can help.

You should have a list of spot messages on the left side of the page, a thick banner at the top of the page, a map to the right side of the page, and copyright info at the bottom of the page. The messages at the left can be collapsed by clicking on the double left-pointing arrow at the top right of the messages pane. The copyright info can be collapsed by clicking on the double down arrows at the top right of the copyright pane. The banner is not collapsible.

Some of what you see is a result of the size and resolution of your screen. I have a a small 10" netbook and on my screen my spot page shows about 2/3 of the way from right to left as the map, and probably a similar amount of vertical space. I can get more by collapsing the messages and copyright info.

Good luck.

Re: SPOT

It looks like the spot page link in the body of the post doesn't work right, but the one below my user info on the right side of the page does...

Re: SPOT

This is what you want to be looking at if you want to track him. Looks like he's at Beaver Creek airport just inside Canada. Click on Hybrid and zoom in.
