What STC was used for this conversion?
I seem to recall seeing a photo, but I can't find it now.

Re: Straight tail project

I'm sure the bullet will be down on the gravel bars. . I heard they took it down there for the acceptance flight. .

Then they took the utva down there and realized they love those big tires.

The owners main goal is to go hunting and looking for places that they can practice shooting further than 2000 yards.

Re: Straight tail project

I remember seeing a youtube 'for sale' video for the Bullet a while back. Seems like a real slick airplane. I wouldn't kick it out of the hangar :D

EDIT: found the video -

STC used is "Super Stinson Modification LLC" from Oregon City, OR... It is no longer owned by the guy in Oregon City... He sold it to someone in Alaska... The STC number is SA1199WE

The aircraft we put it on was held up with import issues getting it from Canada to US registration... That took 5 years to get cleared up, the engine conversion kit sat in boxes right up until we got the aircraft paperwork... We stuck on an 0-470-J 225HP version, goes like stink... The STC is approved for A,J, K, L or R engines.

Pictures on my FaceBook site, probably where you saw it... Will have to get a couple next time it is out and post up...

Brian.

Went flying in the bullet this weekend. . That thing site climbs and lands well. Then I took the 182 out for a burn. .

On the project we Welded up some cross braces.. and started fitting the tubing to put baggage door access on the pilot side of the airplane. .. this week the project is off to get media blasted

Fuselage has finally made it over to the paint shop.. so many little things always make you go slower than you thought.
