Solstice: Sat, Jun 20, 2026, 10:24 PM HST
Today the color of the blue ocean is amazing viewed from my little apartment overlooking the vast Pacific. There is no continental-shelf here, I live on a volcanic pinnacle in the middle of the world’s deepest ocean. This affects the different colors offshore and the waves. Much in contrast to let’s say CONUS.
There has been more sunlight lately (earth tilting towards the Sun). Longer days and brighter skies!
Being an “outdoorsy dude” I can sense the change of season without a calendar or clock. Summer will officially start this weekend Sat, Jun 20, 2026, 10:24 PM HST.
The fishing seasons are changing for the better too!
