Has anybody landed on the Playa at Summer Lake, OR? It is in SE OR, just north of the airport in Paisley, OR (22S). It is just a bit SE of the Cowboy Dinner Tree. There is an event on the Playa this fall that I'd like to attend, and flying in would be the easiest way to get there. I just don't have a feel for how dry this playa gets, or how level it is. The Google Earth images show some color striations that could mean a lot of different things. Any feedback would be appreciated. I'm landing on 8.50s so that limits my surfaces somewhat.

I have not landed there. But, have witnessed hurricane force winds (in 4x4 truck) from the South in the area. Forecasts are Paramount.
