Sun-N-Fun

I'll be headed from Northern Virginia to Sun-N-Fun with a stop at Maule Flight for an annual inspection. I hope to arrive at SNF on Wednesday morning, 4/9, but that will depend on how long the annual takes. Any other BCPers headed that way? It'd be good to connect and swap some stories and useful information while there.

I'll be there, but taking a commercial cattle car from Colorado - no time to do it the right way given my J3. I fly in late afternoon on tuesday and will be there through Friday.

I'd love to meet up if we can make it work... It's my first time to SnF.

The first post mentions a date of 4-9. Isn't Sun and Fun from 4-1 to 4-6? Got me wondering. Jim

Re: Sun-N-Fun

After how they treated many aircraft owners and pilots in the aftermath of the big storm a few years back, I don't think I will ever attend SnF. There were some pretty bad stories as to how airplane owners and fly in participants were treated and billed for "clean up".

Re: Sun-N-Fun

Guess what! I get to go to SNF this year! A little over a week ago my company had a contest to win two seats on the A320 that jetBlue will be flying in. You had to tell them about your passion for aviation and how it is a part of your life. Well, after submitting a few pics of myself in the backcountry with the family, I was notified that I had won. I'll get there around 10:30am on Wednesday April 2nd and leave that afternoon. I'd love to meet anyone that will be there. PM me if you want to meet up.
