supercub crash in surf
Debrief, share, and hopefully learn from the mistakes of others.
This popped up last night:
http://ktla.com/2013/08/30/small-plane-crashes-on-beach-near-trump-golf-course/With the long tail of a banner behind the plane it is hard to figure out how it got inverted, unless it flipped after touching down in the soft sand. As usual, the reporting is incomplete, but the fact that the pilot escaped with minor injuries is a good bit of news and suggests the landing was not made in the inverted position as reported.
