Renegade---
I've got a "mandatory" Mothers Day thing on Sunday AM, so looks like I'll have to be back home on Saturday night. But then could be back in the air Sunday in the afternoon and might be OK for Monday/Tuesday---

That sounds like it might work out well for the other guy, cublight. So do you want to leave for jefferson on sunday afternoon or monday morning? There are several grass strips east of Dallas that would be good meeting points, or would you rather just meet up at the final destination. Was also wondering if you are still going to the cub deal. I heard they are going to have a professional air to air photographer who will be offereing his services at like a 75% discount.

Renegade, I'll plan on seeing you on Saturday for the Cub Fly In. With the promise of decent weather here last weekend, we ended up with some not so hot(meaning not so good) weather on Saturday. At any rate, forecast is for much of the same thing---Rain chances every day this week, ending on Friday and the weekend looking OK, but could still have some low clouds left over.
If the weather is decent on Sunday, I could make it over to Jefferson by mid afternoon. Are you laying over there? Where could I get info on lodging etc for Jefferson. (I'll poke around a bit on the internet, but if you already have info, pls share). I just moved about a year ago and threw out 100% of any camping gear I had(it needed it). Otherwise, I might end up over there just for the day.

Good to know you are going to be at the cub thing. While in Jefferson I will be staying at a relatives house but there are plenty of places to stay there. You said you might be free on monday, if you dont feel like spending the night why not just com up early monday? I hope somebody shows up besides the two of us, maby we can invite some of the cub guys when we are there. We shal see.

Sounds good Renegade
I'll see you at the Cub Fly in at Sherman. There are two airiports at Sherman, so make sure you get the right one. I'm in a M7-235C Maule, tail number 6447M--biege, green and brown. We'll just take it from there. I might try to get out some on Sunday afternoon, but I can be free on Monday as well, and might run over to Jefferson then.

here is a link to the cub deal(hope this works, if not let me know).
If weather looks promising, we ought to email them and let them know of our coming. Also, I was confused about which airport in Sherman was having this thing, so look at it closely.

Just caught your post--Missed you at Sherman, and did not go on to Cedar Mills. Had to return a buddy so he could get out of town.

I didn't know until I got my chores done at home this morning that I would have time to fly before Mother's Day ;stuff at home. I left FW Spinks at about 10:15 and flew to Cedar Mills, I landed at about 11:15. That was my first time there. It was a pretty good hike to the Restaurant. I saw what I think was a Navion and a hopped up 150 parked when I got there. When I was leaving there was a 182, was that one of ya'll?
