THANKS, BUNCHES, Zane!

The medical topic on special issuance medicals from SC web site where paid membership is required for "full privileges" is a BIG reminder of what Zane does for us ALL-without fees or any financial pressures at all.
Zane spends a lot of his time keeping this baby up and running, plus working towards improving it in the future.....
We ALL owe him a GREAT BIG thanks, at a minimum!

lc

He is willing to take "financial gratitude", also, I believe......

Re: THANKS, BUNCHES, Zane!

This is the ONLY forum I have ever looked at more then a few times, and I'm on here at least once a day usually more. It's because of the fantastic job you do Zane. I agree with all that's been posted above.

Thanks for all of it,

Marty

Re: THANKS, BUNCHES, Zane!

OK, one, two, three: GROUP HUG! :)

Well, maybe that's too much, but I also appreciate the hard work. I'm on a few other forums, and no doubt, Zane does a good job, not only on the techie work, but also in monitoring things to keep the no-nos from getting out of hand--and pretty diplomatically at that.

Re: THANKS, BUNCHES, Zane!

Yep, what a great forum. I check it daily. Unbelievable pool of knowledge on here, I've learned a lot through others experiences. I flew from AWO to Pheonix last month by myself, by far my longest trip but I felt that if I had any problems along the way I could come on here and probably find some help. Great pilot community. Thanks Zane for making it all happen. =D>

Thanks Zane, this really is a great place. However your statement "Ya'll are gonna crap your proverbial pants" really has some of the old guys worried. Depends are very expensive these days.

Re: THANKS, BUNCHES, Zane!

Agreed, I was a member of the "other" site, and I gave them quite a lot of money, but I gave it when I wanted to and because I didn't give on their schedule they cut me off. That was enough for me. Actually it was their loss..........

Haha awesome ^^. That looks just like my adult buddy Pete.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. We'll remain free for as long as I'm at the helm. This forum would be nothing without the combined posts and contributions of all the members, and I don't for a minute forget that. I appreciate everyone tolerating my managerial methods. I know at times it seems...grrr. :)

Re: THANKS, BUNCHES, Zane!

That's funny Zane. Seriously, I've said it before and I'll say it again, we have a great group of people here and I've made some great friends because of this gathering place. This was once again manifested by all the help and offers of help to me during Caveman.

It truly has become a mainstay of not only my life, but of that my whole family. In many ways, it has defined our family. A great deal of our personal flying revolves around this site, its fly-ins, and the people we look forward to seeing. It even extends to my work flying when I'm able to visit friends in cities that I overnight in. Again, another enhancement in my life.

I couldn't fathom going through the purchase process of my aircraft without the guidance of a member here who I consider to be a very dear friend. Nor would I have seen his 205 at Caveman 4 years ago and had that seed planted to own one. I don't belong to any other forums (although I need to join CPA out of necessity) and I'm on this site dozens of times a day.

Not to mention the good that comes from uniting the like minded in learning from each other and supporting organizations like RAF and IAA.

So yes, thanks Zane! =D> Now, break is over. Stop reading this and get back to work on the new site! :)
