Don't have a good pic of my pup but I can't resist posting something.

Welcome to the dark side. If you order your panel now , you'll have it by the time you take possession of the plane. (maybe)

Whee, I've only got one dog right now and she's a Dobie obviously. Your boy is a dead ringer for my Kodiak who we lost about 4 years ago. I'm thinking what's one more dog eh? Shepherds are just so predictable and reliable. I need one again.

Sorry for the de-rail Nick; as you were, but remember, you started it.

Re: The Great Big Jump - Cessna 182

Hey, great choice for a first airplane. My first plane was a 172 purchased back in 19xx. I got my dad's 9-foot sickle bar mower and cut a 18-foot wide swath about 1200 feet long in the hayfield. I had a great time that first summer flying off my little runway. I didn't know much about tail wheel airplanes back then and never thought anything about bouncing around in the hay field with my 172. Of course I did have to have a minor repair to my prop one time. You will love your airplane.

Re: The Great Big Jump - Cessna 182

Congrats, Nick!!! Great to have yet another 182 driver here.

If all goes well this next few weeks, I should have mine flying by spring, or by summer at the latest.

Re: The Great Big Jump - Cessna 182

Look into MicroAerodynamic VG's for it down the road. It is not how fast a 182 can fly, but how slow in the backcountry. Have fun!!!!

Flying is dangerous. If you think otherwise, you are new at this sport. Mind the gravity not the gap.
