Oldie but goodie. I flew floats a few hundred hours and abosolutely it is the most exciting flying that I have done. Hopefully I will get back to it some day. It's been 13 years since I last flew my own floatplane and miss it.

Just to be clear the same "hidden dangers" apply to seaplane flying south of the 49th parallel. :?

That video showed up on my YouTube 'recommended' list as well - about a day after I inked a contract to buy an amphib Husky. Hmmm.

Haven't watched the video yet but this made me chuckle.
Best I can think of is landing near a gang of geese wearing toques and gold maple leaf necklaces challenging you to a friendly hockey game.
