Toketee

Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

Toketee

My usual group of flying friends camped at Toketee Friday and Saturday night for the 4th holiday weekend. The wild flowers were in bloom. A sea of AMAZING flowers of all colors!! The grass was above my knee, which made for a slight unexpected drop at my flare. My 29" AK Bushwheels made for a soft landing. We hiked down to the river with our lunches. One member of our group practice his fly casting. The full moon reduced our star gazing, but we made up for it with a campfire and silly stories. On my way back from Toketee I stopped at Roseburg for fuel. Super nice folks at the FBO. Great place to get away from it all.... TT

Re: Toketee

It would appear that each airplane is at least 6 feet apart, well done I say
