Hey Scott,

I had that the other day. What I did was copy the URL and put it between the [Img] tags. That was WRONG!

vs

Right click on the image and copy image location:

here's the EASIEST way to post a photo/photos here - FREE, no need for an Account and did I say EASY. Follow STEP BY STEP

1- go to http://www.imageshack.com/
2- Click on BROWSE and choose the photo you want to post from wherever it is in your computer
3- under the "Image resize" caption, click on "800x600 15" monitor"
4- click on "UPLOAD NOW"
5- Wait a few seconds, it will download and a new screen will appear
6- Go to where is sais "FORUM CODE", select the URL and copy it
7- Go to your backcountrypilot.org post and paste what you just copied. It will look like that: [url=http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/21/img1870ki.jpg/][img]http://i720.imageshack.com/albums/ww209/Puerto%20Rico%2008/P1240017.jpg[/img][/url] Uploaded with [url=http://imageshack.us]ImageShack.us[/url]

8 - delete all the gibrish before and after the symbol [/IMG]
9- It will then look like that : [img]http://i720.imageshack.com/albums/ww209/Puerto%20Rico%2008/P1240017.jpg[/img]
10- Repeat as many times as you wish by clicking "Media Upload" at the top of the page

For those of you using internet explorer, I can see where the confusion is (no easy way to get the url). Perhaps before you sign up to photobucket, imageshack, picasa, etc. try switching it Firefox or Chrome (free). They are free and in my opinion, much better and safer.

Zane I have never seen your tutorial video before. My mac doesn't right click the "copy image URL" choice, but uses the "copy image location" instead.
Still unable to figure out the Picaso/photo bucket deal, but I can now get a picture to the post without it, so look out.
Makes a guy wonder how I remember to breath every few seconds.

Yes. We can see them. Look at preview before you submit.

I do preview but all I see in the preview or my posts, is the address of the image, not the actual picture. Thanks

I wonder if you need to add photobucket or wherever you are keeping your images as a safe site. When Matt reposts it is allowing the BCP site.
