Mine is my ham radio call sign. Something cool though is I reserved N6EA with the FAA so when I paint my Maule I'll be able to use it for my tail number... Ok, maybe I'm the only one that thinks it's cool.

Spent some time in the navy, specifically on a fast attack submarine. My primary job was that of a quartermaster. In the army and airforce a quartermaster is a supply person. In the navy a quartermaster is in the navigation dept. By the way we were always IFR.

My secondary job was that of ships diver. Some scuba but mostly surface supply. So my rating was QMDV. Quartermaster diver.

The first time I registered on a web site that is all I could think of.

Oh and in a tri-pacer I think you could release all the co2 you wanted and there would be no problem with all the air that wistles through that plane.

Hey! I think I resemble that!

Well...mine is pretty obvious if you have enough sense of humor to laugh at yourself. In a nut shell, I don't need need a super Cub and got sick of people telling me I did. But really it's all in good fun.

Think about it.....
My wife has come up with some pretty good ones but I'd rather not go there.
You are what you are.
I got stopped at Wasilla tonight while getting fuel by a guy from AZ tonight who recognized the plane. Why bother with anything else?

While the optimist, the pessimist and the realist were arguing about the glass of water… the opportunist drank it.
Never assume malice for what can be explained by stupidity!

I have an eastern European last name that begins with an "I" which nobody can pronounce. In the Navy my nickname is "Ivan". I fly the mighty submarine hunting P-3C. Sub hunter...Ivan...fictional ASW tactic from a somewhat entertaining movie.

Looking way back in my student days before I became a pilot, ah the memories of November of 2006; A confident republican party dreams of holding onto congress are dashed; A disenchanted Britney Spears files for divorce from her husband, Kevin Federline. Those were innocent times.

I was landing in trusty '221, a Cessna 150, when I started to swerve to the right. I quickly over-corrected swerving to the left, the left wheel came off the ground. Quickly, but more gently this time, I neutralized then corrected to the right. The wheel came down and with the edge of the runway getting closer. I managed to stop relatively straight and barely on the runway. Red faced and shaken I taxied back to the tie-down. It was not a confidence building day. So, I didn't loop it but I thought, "Cr@p! If I can almost wing-over/loop a 150, how am I going to do in a 'real' airplane?"

It also fits with my tongue-in-cheek self perception of my flying abilities. "You're not as good as you think you are... and that ain't very good". I figure it helps keep me from getting over confident and doing something stupid.

Craig.

Life is good. Life is better with wings.

Take an old 172, strip the paint off, polish it unless you get tired, and you have Quicksilver, bursting with muscle at the seams.

Had to come up with something that hadn't already been used; and my Cessna 120 doesn't have flaps, so....

Alright here goes... Well back in my Rodeo daze, there was this time where we were havein' trouble wit the horses stalling in the chute and the idea was to give the pony a little hit from the "HOTSHOT" AKA cattle prod (in the hand held variety) well all went as planned except for when I gave the boost my thumb slipped between the prongs and BAMO I got hit with the ZAP as well. imbtween there was the encounter with the weekend Barney Fife (event security) and the "Is this VIP enuff for ya" comment that almost earned me my first night in the clink...... more on that at a campfire near you... so there you have it

Actually, I am thinking of changing my user name to something more mysterious. Still trying to come up with something...

Ok,

If this isn't the biggest softball that has ever been lobbed right down the middle of the plate, I don't know know what is?

Gentlemen (and Ladies) let's all put on our thinking caps and come up with a new user name for our (obviously) fearless leader...

Let me start,,,

ZmanfromPtown
ChairBoy (you needed to be there)
O300peddler

Maybe a few beers and I'll come up with some really good stuff...

After 20 years as a VFR jockey and no instrument ticket, these are still my favorite letters in the alphabet.
