vacuum pump pad cover
Have problems with your aircraft? Maybe just questions about how best to tune or adjust something? Regs or maintenance? Need to know the best way to do something?

Been thinking more & more about removing the horizon, DG, vacuum pump, and associated stuff from my VFR-equipped C180, and replacing it all with a "pocket" Dynon D2. Thousand bucks, clips into a 3" instrument hole, and no paperwork required. I'll need a cover plate for the vacuum pump drive pad, I've seen them fabricated from aluminum plate but I've also seen factory made cast ones. Does anyone know a source and/or p/n for one of these? Don't think they have to be Continental or Lycoming specific as I believe vaccum pumps all have a standard flange. Thanks.
