Vancouver to Yukon

Great weather for first leg through coast mountains. Short stop at Anahim, then an interesting visit at Moose lake lodge and onto Smithers. Sunshine Inn the place to stay, includes airport pick up.

Re: Vancouver to Yukon

First photo looks like the Tiedemann Glacier on Mt Waddington? They must have fixed up the shack at Anahim, nobody there before would have known what to do with a flower basket.
Keep the log running, I'm planning the same for next year.

Did you see the picture of the helicopter down in the Stikine Canyon. It is a big picture on the office wall. Very spectacular.

Re: Vancouver to Yukon

We are over at Carcross for a while yet. Staying at our place about 10 miles north. You are welcome to stop and stay at the airstrip lot.
Our place is 2 miles north of Emerald Lake. Three little lakes on the property. Come circle the house before you land and we will drive down to the strip.

The tops are in over here today. Lots of vis in the valley though.
