W & B

Hello all,

Can anyone point me towards a "user manipulable" W & B app. I am currently using Fltplan for this purpose however I can't seem to "amended" it for the extended baggage area. I have all the necessary W & B data to create the "position" within the envelope but I need a "day of" tool for load planning.

Cheers,

Re: W & B

Device? I was using WnB Pro on iOS before moving to the built-in W&B calc in ForeFlight. Very configurable.

I don’t recall which one I was using on Android, sorry about that.

Re: W & B

I do all of my W&B in Foreflight. I can keep multiple aircraft profiles in there and adjust the "day of" parameters quite easily.

Cool :). Same as iPhone, then. Give WnB Pro a look. Not free, but $5 is reasonable, I think.

Re: W & B

I can knock a W&B out in about 2 minutes with pen and paper and it gives my brain a little exercise. I also use Garmin Pilot on my iPad and iPhone which is quite adaptable.

Re: W & B

Another vote for W&B Pro. I've used dozens of them, and seen about a dozen others. W&B Pro is by far the easiest to use, and to make "user configuration changes". I used it to help decide whether or not some ballast in the tail would be worthwhile to compensate for a heavy turbo-normalizer attached to the engine (exhaust). Turned out we could not mount enough ballast in the tail to make a significant difference (potential structural issues, per the DER). W&B Pro may have saved me several thousand dollars by playing those "what if" games...

Re: W & B

Can the W & B feature of the Garmin Pilot be manipulated for revised aircraft configurations out side the original envelop (i.e.170B with extended baggage area)
