KB Guide: Cessna main gear alignment photo request

https://backcountrypilot.org/knowledge- ... -alignment

Our resident gearbox-out-the-bottom guy AEROPOD wrote a great guide to Cessna main gear alignment a while back here in the forum. I felt it was a good addition to the Knowledge Base.

It's lacking photo documentation though, so if anyone has some photos that might match what's going on in this article, I'd appreciate them.

Thanks!

What is the prescribed torque for the bolts pressing the wedges to the outer brackets?

I never saw that article, guess I missed when he posted it.
An excellent read & very informative.
Thanks Tony for writing it, and thanks Zane for posting the link.
BTW I didn't see the writers name anywhere on that linked page.
You might want to add that?

Standard torque for an AN4 in tension as far as I know. I've never seen a different torque specified for them. The important thing to remember is the bolts aren't there to draw the wedge in to place, they are only there to hold them after the wedge has been seated with light taps from a hammer.

Excellent article, thanks!!!

As to photos, during this process, there is generally a fair bit of cursing, and such, but taking photos hardly ever occurs to participants, in my experience..... #-o
