Wes & Angela Head. "Headoutdaplane" here at BCP.

I know the episode was probably filmed some time ago. I've seen their beautiful Beaver in the credits for Buying Alaska for a while now.

Re: Wes & Angela Buying Alaska

It was a lot of fun filming the show, and they chartered the Beaver for almost 14 hours so it was a nice bump at the end of the season. But....."Reality TV" is best left in quotes. If I really had an extra million dollars Beluga Air would be sporting another plane. :D

John Denver asked me once what I would do if he invested a million $ in my business. Told I would keep on flying till it was gone.

They filmed an episode of that show where I live. Wow, what a complete and utter line of horse shit. Made our place look like a third world city of some kind. Very disappointing editing. The "buyer" " bought" the realtors personal house. Have yet to see those folks in town anywhere. It is a big place though, 300 residents, so maybe I missed them somewhere.

Well now THAT'S worth a million dollars right there.

(For those of you who have no sense of humor, that is called sarcasm.)

Ha ha, that was a horrible episode. We had our house listed with him at the time they came out for the show and they didn't stop by. Not that I wanted to be on TV, but if they were seriously looking for a house the realtor should have brought them by. And "bought" is the right term, last I heard there was not actual sale. The Sitka episode had houses that weren't even for sale being used. The production company just payed the owners to rent the house for a day and pretended they were for sale.

Along the same vein, one of the pilots on "Airplane Repo" is a customer of my In-Laws insurance company. I just smile and grit my teeth when they talk about all the crazy, obviously real, things that go on with him on that show.

Man I wish I could live in SE AK some day! My wife would love it even more. Good aircraft mechanic jobs are had to come by it seems.
Chaos how's POW to live? I was there a few years ago for a marathon and loved it but I would miss skiing and the mountains.

You mean "Buying Alaska" is fake? What a buzz kill. I guess the next thing you're going to tell me is wrestling is fake too.

Nah, that's probably the most "real" thing anymore. Wait, do they still even do wresting on TV?

Re: Wes & Angela Buying Alaska

For those of us that don't watch TV, can anyone tell me what episode it is so I don't have to subject myself to all of them?

Re: Wes & Angela Buying Alaska

The episode is called "Millionair".

I did learn that I don't like the sound of my own voice on TV. But we have had a couple three inquiries about trips this summer that mentioned the show. Like Gump said 14 hours is 14 hours. And, if I can't laugh at myself, I am missing the best show in town (now in the nation). =D>

Trent, you will always be invited to Pilot Night, but that is only because everyone is invited to Pilot Night!

I tried to tell Angela now is the time to have Beluga Air thongs made to sell, with our logo on the front with "Every one likes a wet beaver!" printed on it. She said [-X
