Where did you fly today?

Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

Well I am currently sitting poolside in La Paz, Mexico enjoying a Margarita! I can't complain! I'll post a trip report when I return!

Made it to Governors Harbor, Eleuthera yesterday. Chilling out here for a few days then begins the long, slow haul back to civilization.

Boy, That sounds nice, I'm envious. You know for the same amount of miles you could be in Seattle sipping Coors light at the top of the Space Needle.

In mexico, a warm sunny day is just another day. But this time of year in western Washington, it's something special! The damp & chilly days really makes you appreciate it when it gets nice out.

A little Maine lake flying. Unfortunately no skis, but the Bushwheels were fine for sled trail landings. Skis next year....

Awesome pictures Steve!! It's been too damn long since we've gone plane camping and I feel like I'm missing out, I wish we could have made it.

Caveman is looking good . They are adding a larger parking area to hold more planes.

Re: Where did you fly today?

Looks like some sweet gravel bars you flew over, just saying  Any planes for a bit larger tire, like 8:00's or so? Once you start down that road however, (I went from 8:00's, to 26" Airstreaks, and now the 29's) it gets expensive. Gotta have the Robert gear mod also, call it nearly 5 K

How you liking the centerline seating position after your previous bird?

Re: Where did you fly today?

Actually except for my S-12 and the S-6, all my other planes have been tandem seating. So I feel right at home. I have 800's on it now with an 8" pneumatic Matco but I see 26" Airstreaks in my near future as well as a 10" dual fork Matco tailwheel. I'm sure there is a set of Robert's gear in the distant future but I want to wait until he has the bugs worked out of the Fox shock style first. I have been eying those gravel bars for the past 2 years. One of the motivating factors in buying the S-7.

Re: Where did you fly today?

A Challenger II and a Titian II were the most recent. Used to teach ultralights in the Challenger.

That was going to be my guess. Only one I've ever flown was a GT 500.
