Who still makes 185 cargo pods

Looking for a cargo pod for a 185F, does anyone still make and issue STC’s for them?

Our member here on BCP Aeropod does. He can be pretty cranky though, but just mention my name and he'll warm right up to you...

I reached out to him the other week, sounds like he moved recently and doesn't have production setup yet. Is there anyone in Alaska making them, or is a field approval relatively easy if I find a used one

Bob Piatt at Alaska Bush Pods makes a 180/5 pod that requires a field approval but he said it’s not a problem to get.

Thanks I’ll look him up and give him a call.

I only have experience with the stock Cessna pod, are these all about the same size? Looking for the most volume

I spoke with him, however he said some guys have been having difficulty lately getting approvals.

Anyone willing to offer up a tail number with his pod that’s field approved so we can what see what wording worked and try our luck with the Fsdo.

I’m still around. Mostly just lurking and enjoying what other people share. Life is busy, not much time for flying or doing anything you guys would care about. Lol
Hope things are good with you too!
