WingX Pro7 vs Foreflight vs ???

I am jumping on the ADS-B IN/OUT rebate and none of the 978 UAT vendors (except Garmin) supports my current Garmin Pilot app.

I have been quite happy with Garmin Pilot and the price point for all the features is better than ForeFlight; however, if I want to display weather and traffic on my iPad then I am going to have to change.

I know ForeFlight is the current 500 lb gorilla EFB and seem happy to profit on this position. Is there anyone out there with current experience with WingX Pro7 or other EFB's that I should consider?

Thanx

Seattle avionics , good price and complete I studied changing my Garmin pilot app too, and this was a good option.

The most cost effective ADS-B "in" solutions seem to be the portables. If you go this route, you can choose any tablet and app combination you want without consideration for the ADS-B "out" solution.

If you like the Garmin app, buy a GDL39 and carry on. Then go choose the panel mount option that best suits your needs, wishes, and budget.

If you want the panel mounted ADS-B "out" choice to also be the "in" solution, then compatibility with your portable and panel mount avionics becomes important.

Do you know yet which way you'll go in that regard, or should continue the discussion on that point first?

My set up allows me to utilize my current GNS-430W and GTX-327 for ADS-B IN and Out solution for 978 UAT and the units I am considering have a WiFi connection for tablet and/or phone.

I agree there are multiple "IN" options using relatively dedicated free standing GPS units, but I am going to go with a panel mounted "IN/OUT" solution rather than two different solutions.
