Re: Winter is coming

We must have shipped ours over to you. Rain and 50 degrees seems to be our new November plan.

Re: Winter is coming

We've had snow on and off for a while up here now. I think there is an average of 46% of the crop still put in what we call the peace country in Alberta. Been a brutal fall. Was -20C a couple days ago. About 1/2" of freezing rain last night and now snowing on top of it. Roads are in awesome shape... I'm not a fan of winter starting this way!

Re: Winter is coming

I hear you about the weather in the Peace. I’ve got trucks moving some big loads south of Grande Prairie. Not happy about the risk levels. One slip and we could be out of business.

Many crops in the fields here in Southern Alberta too that will likely be there until Spring.

Re: Winter is coming

I very tentatively have done a bit of water skiing with the Datum skis, but the water looks so cold I have not really pushed it, I have enough ways to get into trouble already.

Just a couple hours from my first ski flight of the year, if the WX holds, always a thrill unlike most others! quick edit, just realized today is Friday the 13 th....
