Wood model of 9-cylinder radial engine

Remind me again why we no longer fly behind radial engines? Very cool.

Re: Wood model of 9-cylinder radial engine

I've seen a cutaway radial engine that was operated by an electric motor once. I do understand radial engines, but seeing it all come together, especially with his labelling, was very cool. Thanks for the link!

That was really cool. Great explanation, too. Anyone know which specific radial engine he replicated?
