WTB: 170B Cowl Blister
Gear for sale, gear wanted, etc. Be sure to read the
Required Reading sticky before posting.
I seem to recall recently see a set of or a supplier of the preformed 170B cowl blisters required for the 0-360 engine upgrade. Does anyone else in the community recall and could you point me in towards them.
Thank you in advance.

Pretty sure they were in Alaska. Try the super 170 site on Facebook.
They would be pretty easy to make using a foam plug.

You might also give the Del Aire folks a call. They produced a conversion, and I understand that the previous owner's son now runs the show. May have these made up.

I spoke with him yesterday, very knowledgeable but equally very little interest in the OM aircraft market. I suppose that's understandable given that the OM category was create in a large way for affordability and to assist in maintaining older, simpler airframes.

I've got one cowl bister that came off a L-19 Bird Dog. Have no use for it. Let me know if it's of any interest.
