WTB Aero Flash Strobe Power Supply

I’m looking for a serviceable Aero Flash single strobe power supply 12-14 volt
P/N 156-0003. Apparently they are out of business so no new parts available.
Thanks

Looks like aircraft supply has some in stock. Maybe buy an extra one? I know I have a few customers that have them and I'll run into issues soon enough replacing them...

Re: WTB Aero Flash Strobe Power Supply

Have you checked for what is wrong with your power supply, on cop car strobes when a power supply quits it is almost always a dead electrolytic capacitor, very cheap generic part and easy to fix.

That's a shame if they are indeed out of business,
they were a nice (aka affordable) alternative to Whelen strobes.

Re: WTB Aero Flash Strobe Power Supply

Sad to hear. Very soon after I had Aeroflash strobes installed on my airplane some 15 1/2 years ago, I had a flashtube failure, and they were very responsive, sending a new one in less than a week. The strobes have worked flawlessly since.

Here's a cross reference chart from Spruce that indicates Whelen substitutes for Aeroflash items: https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/ ... erence.php

Thanks for all the help guys.
I appreciate the quick response. Sounds like I have a couple of options to get this fixed.

Re: WTB Aero Flash Strobe Power Supply

I have one that I pulled out of the tail of mine. It seems to have a different part number though. It works and is a 12v. Let me know if you end up needing it. Image

Re: WTB Aero Flash Strobe Power Supply

Thanks Prosaria.
I will see if I can cross reference that part number, it might work. Mine has a power and ground wire and a 3 pin plug right on the unit housing.

I have a NOS set of Aeroflash tip strobes and power supplies I'd get sell....never installed. If you need them, PM me.

Re: WTB Aero Flash Strobe Power Supply

I’ve been researching part numbers the best I can and it looks like I could also use an Areoflash p/n 152-0007
This is also a 12-14 volt single power supply.
Thanks for all of the responses.
