A friend of mine with the BBW wide fork & glider tire had trouble with the tubes failing.
His mechanic got him a "better tube" (I see now that it was a beaver tube),
but when it was assembled we found that the valve stem was too close to the fork.
This trick with enlarging the slot in the wheel space appears to take care of that.

Got everything installed yesterday and did some test landings. Really Happy with this set up. Great for pavement.
