Try an image version with this color blue. Sharp looking.

Personally I think it's worth running the CG numbers to confirm a tail shock is worthwhile. The moment-arm is so long that even a little extra weight back there can really change the total moment and eat into your useful load.

Tailwheel damage is constantly on my mind landing off airport, as you're basically left stuck. I always try my best to ensure it's the last point to touch the ground, as slow as possible, ideally less than 10kts.

I had this same question and am told from the TK crew there is no added weight. It's the same as the lead spring. If anything at all the CG move slightly forward I'm told.

Feeling like I this could be close.

Would leave the slats chrome. This was also done with a marker so not really true to color scale but you get the idea.

That's a cool design, matches the plane nicely. I think either the way you have it, or a deep shade of orange in place of the red would look really good. The polished slat will be a nice touch.

I tend to like Phils Idea, but then again, I am partial to blue and white toys.....

My wings are covered and my engine arrives tomorrow. Things are really starting to progress. Here's a video from about 2 months ago on the Backcountry SuperCub.

Re: My BCSC - Version 2 (SQ) updated 8/26

Have not updated for sometime. Had some set backs with paint. Needed to end up wet sanding the entire thing and re-due the paint. We had some serious wicking. Long story short my new bird is in for final assembly. We are hoping to do the first runs on her in about 3 weeks.

Here are some photos

My new tail chevron. At first I thought hmmm....but now she is growing on me. Ask me next month

35" BW's waiting to go on. Engine is getting hung this week. We are getting very close. Will try to keep this updated better

The highlander is one hell of a compromise from a beaver.

Wow Kevin!!!
The Points North Air Force just keeps getting bigger!!!
It looks like your next purchase may need to be a bigger hangar.
