Flying with piperpainter aka former crazy Mooney driver

Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

Avery's first flight

Well today marks 6 days since our bundle of joy has arrived! Avery has been making sure we only get a few hours of rest in a row....although I am lucky to usually get more than Janelle since, I don't have the tools she does to feed!
Anyway, after a nice surprisingly great night sleep we decided to take Avery for her first flight. For those that know me I am the only one in my family that is a pilot. And I wanted to start a tradition of taking my kids flying shortly after making an entrance into the world. Thankfully, I have an incredibly supportive & amazing wife. She actually had wanted to go a few days earlier, but the Wx wasn't good. Today it was great! We only did a quick flight, but it was all I needed to make the thought of a tradition, into a reality! Here are some great pics of the day. Oh, and this was after some coffee (cough cough ...Zane!)!

Beautiful last flight (most likely) for the year! Didn't get to fly a ton this year in my plane because let's face it, infants take a lot of time! Hopefully this summer I'll get some good flying in, especially if I have the kind of schedule I do now! Happy new year everyone!

That little kid is sure pretty! Merry first Avery's Christmas and first Avery's Happy New Year, Bryan! Many more to come, about 15 before you need to oil up the shotgun. :)

Good luck with the sale - I'll bring it up if I hear anyone in the market.

Also, please don't tell me this is a symptom of having kids... One on the way and I don't want to sell my plane  :(
