How about unsolicited comments on your choice of mounts?

Yah, whats with that? We all make our own decisions on the 'Quality Vs. Quantity' dilemma.....
No need to be like that!

Re: Pet peeves

Mine is when the guy mowing weeds along the apron at the opposite end of our runway decides to get on the radio to inform me that he needs me to land on the asphalt. Even if he put his sweet tractor in road gear he couldn't cover the mile and a half to get down where I'm at before I'm in the hangar and long gone........

And when he hits a taxiway light with the snowplow and everyone asks me if I hit the light...... #-o

WTF?? it says pet peeves. NOT aviation ONLY. Since you said please and your a friend I'll effen delete my abusive, out of line post.

I never mentioned any party or politician by name. Maybe we should go to mambe pambe land and buy you a pair of balls. Cry baby

And let me be number 47 to say how bad I hate people who talk wrong on the radio. I could give a shit actually, I just turn off the radio and turn up the music and look outside for bogies.

When I am flying that is when I am the least aggravated by the phucking scum bags of this world. Gimmy some Jack Daniels and a gun and I'm down right phucking happy.

Rant over

Re: Pet peeves

Back when I use to keep my hangar really clean, it would steam me to have someone drop in and taxi up in front of my open door hangar and the rev up and do a 180 with the full prop blast into the once clean hangar. I have seen many different pilots do this. Where do they learn this??

Ahh.... You reminded me of this

I hate it when your in the middle of filling up your plane with fuel at the Silver Hawk fuel pump at Caldwell (KEUL) and then having a Helicopter taxing slowly behind you kicking up dust and dirt

I like to head towards the open door with a little extra speed, kill the motor and spin around to a stop right where I want to be. I must be one of the few who does this cuz I sure get some weird looks and smiles.
