Thanks, Zane. Bought it. Great deal! For $179 you get the camera, 8GB class 10 SDHC memory card, long life battery, editing software and free shipping.

I tried to buy one around 10:00 AM EST and they were "all gone".

It's the classic "Bait and Switch" form of advertising. I will not be doing business with that out fit, period!

Of course I could order the new model for something like $379, more then double.

I see the same thing now. At 4pm today I ordered one and got a confirmation of payment. When I bought mine it said the sale was on until tomorrow. Must have a limited number. It will be interesting to see if it gets shipped monday as promised.
