Re: Searching for a first plane.

It's been almost 2 years since I started this thread. Economic / career uncertainty be damned, I made a deal on a Pacer today!

Link to some pictures of it I found online.

Cool stuff:
+ ADS-B out is done - Skybeacon
+ Fuse covered in 2013 - During a bent tail repair. It was jigged straight and done by Svenns.
+ Skylight STC
+ Light Weight battery STC
+ Spin Oil filter STC
+ Wings Covered in 2003
+ Steves Gascolator STC
+ Hartzel lightweight Starter
+ Alternator
+ Sealed Struts and HD forks
+ Shoulder Harnesses
+ Ferguson Extended Wings - 337 shows the tips installed are not the usual Plane Boosters though, they are Maule PT# 9040-2. Has anyone seen these used on a Pacer?
+ Bracket Airfilter
+ Cleveland wheels and brakes - 199-231
+ Dual Toe brakes - I'll need those for tailwheel endorsment training
+ Updated instrument panel layout

The wheel pants and 6.0s will be going soon. Looking at 8.50 Dessers. Getting my BFR, tailwheel endorsment and figuring out how to get it back to CA from CO are slightly higher priorities though.

Re: Searching for a first plane.

Yes, it is in Granby. It was by far the nicest Pacer I've looked at during my search.
