Just so you know, the engine is miles away from the firewall in a BH. Nothing like a Skywagon for instance.
Provided you don't mind too much where you hoses and ducts run, you could definitely get away with doing a lot of that stuff ahead of time. If you wanted to.
The risk is, you end up with extra holes in the firewall.
