Emmet and I made it home yesterday around 3pm. I logged 8.2 on the hobbs coming home. We had to fly at 11.5 between Denio Junction, NV and the Sierras due to some crazy air. I would get into a 6-700fpm sink at full throttle for about 2 minutes and then you would hit a 1500fpm climb. I've never flown in anything like that. It was almost on a perfectly timed cycle. At one point I was at idle and pushed the nose over till all I could see was the ground and was still climbing at 1500fpm. Above 10K it smoothed out considerably.
I don't even know what to say about the trip....so many great people and the flying was totally awesome as always. It was nice to have a few extra days this time so we could take our time. Last year I never went anyplace for breakfast. This year we hit Sulpher Creek, Dixie Town, and Flying B.
It's really hard to even pick which pictures to post but here are some of my better ones. Thanks everyone for such a great time. A special thanks to Zane and Matt. A very special thanks to Pops, Rob, Steve, Donna, Tom, Matt, and Bob. Watching you guys come together to help out a fellow aviator was nothing short of amazing.

Went for a hike on Friday to get some shots like Matt posted last year. I went to the rock outcroppings up on the West side of the strip. That hill is steep!!

Matt giving his talk. A big special thanks to everyone who donated! Matt and I are almost the same age and grew up together. This was the first time I had heard him talk about a lot of that stuff and it was pretty tough to keep a dry eye. His story was very amazing and powerful.
