Do you know the timing on the talk? BTW I've heard the book is excellent.

Looks like 11:30am on Sunday:

1130 - 1215 “Born to Fly, Noel Merrill Wien” - An Autobiography by Merrill Wien / Booksigning.
Born in to a family of aviators, Merrill Wien was destined to become a pilot. His father, Noel Wien, was one of the
first pilots to fly in Alaska and the founder of Wien Alaska Airlines, the second-oldest scheduled airlines in the
United State and territories. Listen as Merrill shares excerpts from his book and signs your personal copy.

I'm sure there will be a contingent gathered at the Lakefront/Millennium on Saturday evening too.

Members of the BCP community are invited to a hangar party Saturday after the show for bbq and beer. Hangar is four buildings north of the west public ramp at lake hood. Right next door to Katmai Land's big red hangar.

Re: 2016 Airman's Show

Missed the note about the BBQ. I was at the air museum BBQ. Checked the bar at the Millenium, but didn't see any hats or shirts that I was hoping for.

Re: 2016 Airman's Show

I wasn't able to make it this year

Too much work to do on the planes.

Hopefully someone looked after Wes.

He can get himself into trouble if left unattended!

Anyone still around? I'll head over to the Millienium again tonight and see if I can pick out any members.

Epic weekend... Sad to be leaving. Great to catch up with those I did. Great friends, good beer, and amazing scenery.

Re: 2016 Airman's Show

It was great to meet more of the Backcountry crew!!! Too many people and not enough time. I hope to retire this year and spend some time flying in the lower 48. Hope to see you all next year.
