Had a great time at this little fly-in yesterday. Got to see some flying friends I haven't seen in a while and meet some new ones. I think it was about 12 or 13 airplanes showed up with some locals driving in. The hosts, Jack and Myrna Moyle were super nice people and have a great little setup there in the foothills. Thanks to svanarts, Hawk and rfinkle for putting on a fun weekend!
Heres some pics:
Shade was popular

Wasn't too hot, really pleasant in the shade...

Rich (rfinkle) and Chris discussing something very important I'm sure...

Very nice Husky on short final for the spot landing line, with some nice thunderbumpers building over the Sierra's...

Same Husky on takeoff trying to line up for the balloon drop, which didn't count because one had to be 50' or higher to play by the rules

The Farland family were all there...

Jack Moyle enjoying the flying activities...salt of the earth type of guy...

Rob and Tom (bombardier) with a balloon on the way...

The first 500' of the strip was about a 10% grade downhill which made for a fun takeoff...

Taildraggers...
