any news from Bushliner?

Apparently Bushliner has moved from their original location at Green Valley airport WA25 in Granite Falls WA,
to the nearby & much larger Arlington airport KAWO.
Not sure what drove that move, and I haven't seen or heard much about them in a while.
Anyone hear anything lately? Were they at KOSH?
I'm over at Arlington pretty often for lunch,
I'm thinking about stopping by their hangar next time.

Re: any news from Bushliner?

They didn't have a booth at OSH but somehow they finagled a deal with DeltaHawk to be the launch customer for the DeltaHawk 6 cylinder https://www.deltahawk.com/2025/07/19/bushliner-1850-aircraft-to-be-powered-by-350-hp-deltahawk-jet-fuel-engine/

More vaporware? Time will tell.

They had an impressive booth at OSH 2022 but so far no flying aluminum, that I know of...

They need to start showing some formed aluminum or people are going to quickly forget them. It's exciting to see the 185 airframe reworked but the price tag will sure hurt. The Helio guys seem to be making better progress.

The brand new Helio (not a rebuild) flew last week, according to media release.

Re: any news from Bushliner?

MTV mentioned it, and I actually saw a video of a short flight in the Alaska Helio earlier today. As much as I like to dream, both are way out of my budget, no matter how much I dream.

So, is there anything new to see or read about on the Helio? Just flew? Any video?

Re: any news from Bushliner?

I'm not sure where I saw the video, it was a very short video of it coming in to land and the subsequent short landing. If I see it again, I will post the link.

Re: any news from Bushliner?

Re the Helio....last night I watched a couple 2024 episodes ("Sunspot" & "Runway Meltdown") of "Ice Airports Alaska" on the Smithsonian channel. The Helio guys were featured, some pretty good clips of them working in the hangar as well as some flying.
Those episodes run again on wednesday morning if you wanna catch it.
